Guest kraz Posted August 23, 2006 Report Posted August 23, 2006 Hi all! I just bought a new SPV C600. I hate the Orange branding, so I wanted to flash it with i-mate or qtek firmwares. No luck, however. I managed to run the redegit utillity, changed the values in the registry, ran the unlocking utility - phone unlocked. So far, so good. I downloaded working nbftools and the i-mate and qtek firmwares. Modified nbf header of both as follows: Model ID: SPV_C600 Image Version: 11.2.1.5 Language: English (tried Polish also, see below) Secondary Version: 2.0.6.0 Operator: ORG_0401 Phone ROM information provided by update utility: Model_ID: SPV_C600 Image Version: 11.1.9.7 Language: Polish ROM Update versions (from About): 5.1.70.14402 The update utility reboots the phone, the phone boots with red, green and blue stripes on the screen. At this moment, the update utility stops and says "This update utility cannot be used with your smartphone". Phone works fine after removing the battery and turning it on again, but how do I flash it properly? Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
Guest The Doctor Posted August 23, 2006 Report Posted August 23, 2006 ok instead of modifying the nbf header data way don't you cid unlock your phone? search around for spv-services on google and download the client. it will allow you to sim unlock and change the cid to 11111111 allowing you to flash any manufacturers rom. phil

Guest Mancom Posted September 3, 2006 Report Posted September 3, 2006 Hi! My first post in here! Welcome. Just for future reference: Spv c600 bought in Polish orange, has the operator line set as "ORG_0410". The last to digits are place reversed campared to uk devices. I have to use this line, becouse the Cid changing tool daes't work for me.
