MDA Vario II - Green (Call) button not working at all

I`ve been waiting ages for my VARIO II and now that I have it i`ve noticed that the green call button on the front does nothing, anywhere.?!

I have to use the screens TALK button to answer a call but I can finish a call using the red End Call button.

Does anyone know whats going on - or if this is a common fault or just me. So far I have had to use it very much (new number and all) but its going to drive me nuts shortly.

Sounds like a hardware fault.

If you are on the today screen for example, pressing the green button should bring up the phone dialler.

hmmm, i was being too careful... (it is new!!!) i`ve now pressed the key very hard and the dialer pops up

I was getting a bit impatient I think... hopefully the key will loosen up..
