Better way of handling SMS text on M3100

Hi,

Does anyone know if there is a better way of handling SMS text messages on the SPV M3100? I'm keen to be able to send text to groups e.g. friends, family, etc. or categories as outlook calls them.

It doesn't seem possible with the default software but is there some software out there that does this?

I've had trouble with this as well on my M500 - I send a text to a huge group of people (manually selected from the contacts input) and it starts off sending, then tells me my ''message cannot be sent '' and stops! what it DOESN'T do is tell me which ones it sent and why it stopped!

If you send to multiple recipients, make sure delivery report is off - the incoming delivery report interrupts the sending of the rest of the texts seemingly.

i discovered that yesterday. sent a text to 50 people with delivery. it froze for a while then i got some message about text could not be sent. so i resent it and then got 95 read receipts. the spv then crashed and no amount of soft resets would work! grr

had 2 do hard reset in the end. the 3rd so far.

still love the phone though :D

Yeah this is not relevant to my current handset though, its still happening it seems. We need an app which will send sms maybe one by one and generate a delivery report accordingly?
