I assume you've upped the volume as high as it'll go using the buttons on the side.

I've not heard of any apps that'll increase the volume, i agree too, since the C550 (Hurricane) the speakerphone has been annoyingly quiet.

Hi

what about modifying audiogain registry settings ?

HKLM\SOFTWARE\HTC\AUDIOGAIN

CODEC_GAIN_HEADSET=CC

HEADSET_UPLINK_VOLUME=CC

repeat for existing keys in

HKLM\SOFTWARE\HTC\AUDIOGAIN1, HKLM\SOFTWARE\HTC\AUDIOGAIN2 ...

then reboot the spv :D

Hi

That's why I said "if existing" before mentionning audiogain1 & 2. these keys are present only on a few european rom....

don't care about audiogain1 and 2 if they doesn't exist. just reboot and test :D

hmm.. it seemed that FF made my headphones really quiet on the right side and normal on the left. acually now that i try DD and EE that also makes the headphones do that. so i guess the only safe one to do is CC

Hi, I followed your instructions and could not improve the lodness of speaker phone when in conversation.

I 'm puzzled with this because speaker is very loud when phone rings or I push the buttons. It seem to

be very quite when I'm in conversation. Are you aware of other registry keys that can boost the speaker

volume during the conversation? Thanks a lot.

I tried few other things and nothing seem to work:

http://www.howardforums.com/showpost.php?p...mp;postcount=17

http://forum.xda-developers.com/googleidx.php?t=42674

Found these:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\SoundCategories\Attenuation]

"2"=dword:00000005 "1"=dword:00000001

"0"=dword:00000000

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\SoundCategories\Ring]

"InitVol"=dword:00000004

"Speaker"=dword:00000001

And these:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\AUDIOGAIN]

"HEADSET_UPLINK_VOLUME"=hex:36

"RECEIVE_UPLINK_VOLUME"=hex:36

"EARPHONE_UPLINK_VOLUME"=hex:36

"SPEAKER_UPLINK_VOLUME"=hex:36

Nothing seem to work for me, while in conversation ( just dialing 611 ) speaker is WAY TOO QUITE....

Can you help?
