pmnotify.exe error

I'm getting a "cannot execute \windows\pmnotify.exe" notification error every time I switch on my hermes. I know it's something left behind from removing pocketmusic, but I don't know where it is. Can anyone help?

The only sure way I know of getting rid of this problem would be hard reset (clear storage). It's drastic as it will wipe the phone's memory (not the storage card) and return the phone to the factory settings.

If it happened to me one of the things I would try is search through the phone's registry for pmnotify.exe and delete any reference to it (or even Pocket Music). Be careful though as modifying the registry can be disasterous if you delete something vital for the phone's functioning. I'd backup everything before trying this. At least if you're prepare to do a hard reset it doesn't matter if you screw up the registry as a hard reset will return the registry to factory default.
