Guest questzb Posted August 25, 2006 Report Posted August 25, 2006 I have some troubles with my smt 5600, and I want to restore the Rom, but since there is no official ROM for Audiovox SMT5600 from Audiovox, I can do it , so I was wondering if somebody could tell me where can I find a ROM or if someone can do a backup as is shown here : http://www.gpcarreon.com/?p=157 or http://www.modaco.com/Backup_your_Typhoon_ROM-t201334.html and upload it to some place. Guest Disco Stu Posted August 26, 2006 Report Posted August 26, 2006 Welcome to the forum :D Unfortunately our rules state that file sharing of this nature is not allowed but you could just do a hard reset to get a clean phone with the original ROM. Instructions are pinned at the top of this section.
Guest questzb Posted August 26, 2006 Report Posted August 26, 2006 Thanx, but I made an upgrade to win mobile 5, so I want to restore it to w2k3. Can I make the restore with the AT&T or Cingular ROMs, Does that lock my phone again or something wrong can happen?
