help using registry editor to app unlock my c550

i have found that you need to install some registry editor and change these two keys:

HKLM\Security\Policies\Policies\00001001 = 1 (RAPI)

HKLM\Security\Policies\Policies\00001005 = 40 (Cert)

so...

problem is i dont have a clue where to go from here. :D

registry works like an explorer... with keys like folders and values like files :D

so simply navigate in it to the mentionned keys.

HKLM = HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

then inside, you'll find a key Security, etc.

at the end, you will have several values in te last folder like "00001001 " as mentionned.

simply use "edit" function of PHM regedit and set value data to 1

it missing a third key to change :

HKLM\Security\Policies\Policies\00001017 = 144

after modifying 3 keys, reboot phone and change / create a fourth key :

HKLM\Security\Policies\Policies\0000101b = 1

reboot again and it's done :D

mini-man when you reach number 15 on your guide and you have installed cert.cab and your fone is already unlocked can i forget the rest

Yup your phone is then app unlocked you only continue if you want to sim unlock your phone (so put another networks sim in it),
