Guest Lunchi Posted August 26, 2006 Report Posted August 26, 2006 Hey, i have recently changed networks on my c500 from orange payg to o2 pay as you go. I have managed to get internet explorer working by entering the settings i found on here, how ever i cant get msn messenger to sign in and keep getting the error message "Unable to connect. Verify you have network coverage and try again" Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated :D
Guest Samsonite Posted August 26, 2006 Report Posted August 26, 2006 I'm on o2 PAYG and have been unable to get MSN or proper websurfing. I believe that the traffic is not allowed over a PAYG server. I can get to various sites with WAP connectivity but not the full internet... If there is a set of settings that get around this, i dont know of them and i have had a good trawl round...

O2 doensnt allow full internet access to payango customers, hence your problems rgds Jim
Guest conan_troutman Posted August 27, 2006 Report Posted August 27, 2006 Ring O2 and complian they tell me they do not offer it to pay and go customers as it is not something that pay and go customers want which is bull anyway they said they may consider changing it if the get enough requests but most people dont contact them to complian they just look for work arounds which is fair enough but in the end O2 dont realise how many people do want this service.
