Internet Explorer use Wifi for web. TCPMP use Wifi for streaming. Opera Mini also use Wifi for web. What kind of Wifi app are you looking to use Wifi for?

I dont think you can directly connect to another mobile device which has wifi as a P2P connection, not that I have read anyway, since its not an Access Point.
