Micro SD slot not working

Just bought 1 Gb Sandisk card, which works in the supplied adapter in my M5000 and in my laptop card reader - but nothing when it's in the Vario II :D

Anyone else had trouble getting the Vario II to recongnize the card? Any workarounds or solutions? I've tried inserting it at slightly different angles etc but no difference.

My local t-mobile shop only got 2 Vario II's last week, I got one and an employee took the other! Hope they get more in if its gotta go back!

The card should only fit one way. Be careful trying with different angles!

I would try formatting the card with FAT format and then try it once more - then send the phone back for a replacement!

had similar issue with m3100 reported card as being no empty space restarted and all ok. not exactly hot swap I know...

I took a 64mb card out of a razrV3 and it detected the card straight away when i put it into my m3100 - nice touch with the camera , it asked if i wanted to store all new phoos on the card instead.

Yeah I've already tried soft reset - no difference. Think it's stuffed :D

Anyone know if I can get a replacement via telesales, customer services or do I have to take it back to the shop and wait for them to get more stock in?
