text messages

hello -- i have an audiovox SMT 5600. not sure if that is relevant to my questions, which are:

- how many text messages can the inbox hold

- how can i transfer text messages from my phone to my laptop, and convert them to a format i can open and read?

thanks for your help! i've had this phone forever, and love it, but am just now really making use of it.

I am not sure the limit of texts but you can sync them with Jeyo software. Google for jeyo mobile and download the free trial.
