M3100 Keyboard and ROM

Hi! I have two questions that i was hoping Paul or anyone else could answere. I have bought a M3100 from ebay, shipping it to sweden. Im a little worried about the keys, can i still write

I can't help with the ROM, though I doubt it would be advisable if you're referring to M3100/Vario II roms as alternatives.

With the hardware keyboard out you cannot directly enter these characters. You would need to either start the symbol virtual keyboard using the stylus or from the keyboard press the Sym key. Then you can scroll through the symbols to find the Swedish symbols.

Thank you for the information, but why do you think its a bad solution to install the htc ROM? is it not stabel or does it have any special issues?
