Guest UKViking Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 Hi. I would really appreciate some advice. I am about to move back to the UK to start a branch office for an international company, and will be living in short-let accomodations without internet, so I am looking into getting data tariffs instead of broadband. My requirements are the following: * HTC Tytn or variant (Vario II, M3100 other) with a competitive data tariff. * Data card for laptop * Ability to use Skype on laptop (to communicate with office abroad) * Skype not too important on mobile, only on laptop. From what I underdstand, I cannot use Skype on web 'n' walk. I have come up with the following idea: *MDA Vario II on T-Mobile with Web 'n' walk pro *Three 3G data card for PC (allows Skype) Does this sound like a good idea? Anyone got any thoughts?
Guest spacerace Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 Hi For the mobile device I think you have made the best choice. For the data card, I would look at the offering from Vodafone which has excellent coverage and costs
