My Vario II internet connectivity experiences on holiday

Ok.. so I basically spent the bank holiday in Paris.

Before I left, I managed to get hold off a Vario II. Sweet!!!!!

Wow, sounds like a pretty good experience all round and those battery usuage figures are extremely good! Maybe I'll get myself a Vario II after all... :D

My current battery usage figures look pretty good to me at the moment, also. I am not making many calls yet, as my PAC code hasn't come through, but I am fiddling about a bit. Hard to say for certain because I am often connecting to my laptop with the USB, so this also makes things a bit confusing. However standby times are looking very good. Left mine on overnight to get an idea and it dropped from saying 90 % (90-99) to 80% (80-89).

I did end up hard resetting mine a few times in the first couple of days and one was after about 24 hours or more on charge, so that might help?

Under your wifi options did you push it up to best performance (although its more battery hungry) I got a better hit ratio then my centrino laptop.
