C600 Rom update

I know this has been asked a few times. But can someone point me to the topic that will tell me how to update my C600 with the iMate SP5 firmware.

Also i've been to ftp://ftp.clubimate.com/ but i'm not sure what version i need. i.e. for my C600 to work with Orange Sim in the UK.

you should read this topic http://www.modaco.com/Got-the-I-mate-rom-o...33-t238381.html it tells about upgrading Qtek with imate rom, but it's the same way for C600 (use latest SP5 WWE rom - not SP5m).

you'll need your phone to be app unlocked first to have installation working (links in the topic about that)

What's the difference between the SP5 and SP5m?

Also what's the best way of formatting the SD card? Since i got a nice new 1GB card for it.

SP5 is same device as C600 and Qtek8310.

SP5m (m for music) = C550 = Qtek 8300. it's approximatly the same as SP5, except that it has 4 addionnal buttons for music.

best way ? put SD card in a card reader on your PC and format in FAT (not FAT32) from windows.
