Run application after receiving a message

I don't know, if this question has been asked before... I jused the searchengine and found nothing.

My question:

Is it possible to run an application after i received a sms?

My phone is a motorola mpx220 and the program which i want to let start is flashlight by silix.

Please, can you tell me, whether it's possible or not.
