Guest Ratzai Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 Hey there.. I have a really big issue with my Qtek 8310. I recently bought a 2 Gb Sandisk Mini SD card from Ebay. The SD card works perfect in my computer with the Mini-SD - SD Adapter and a card reader, the problem is that when i place it in my phone it wont be recognized. I tried to format the card with both FAT and FAT32 but it didnt make a difference. I think i surfed trough a couple of hundrede threads to see if someone had a similar problem but unfortunatly i couldnt find a single case that looked like mine. I also tried to post this topic in a couple of big Danish forums but that didnt solve the problem either. I know that the card works fine since i can read it in my computer, and i know that my phone has no known issues with SD cards because it can read my 256 MB Traxdata Mini SD card without any problems. So know im hoping that someone here can help me find a solution for this #
Guest cng Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 When you say not recognized, do you mean the phone cannot see the card or do you mean the phone sees it but you cannot use it? If your phone know its there, try formating from the phone.

I have a Sandisk mini-SD of 2 Giga on Qtek 8310, no problems! Also formatted in FAT32 it works perfectly... I know that there are some false Sandisk mini-SD, I think you have purchased une of these.... :D

Guest cng Posted August 30, 2006 Report Posted August 30, 2006 The counterfeits are getting a lot more accurate in looks. I'm not even sure if you can tell unless its cheaply made. However, even with the real Sandisk, you may have a defective card. You should get an exchange.
