Guest starstrike Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 Had the handset now for 2 weeks and have experienced a few crashes. One was when the screen was off and I tried to get it back on in the usual way by pushing the power button and nothing happened so had to take out the battery. Also I had the handset hang a few times after watching a video clip using packet video, interestingly it was my batti (app) indicator that looked all garbled and then the handset failed to respond. Also I have a question about Orange Data tarrifs. I have transferred from 3 and have been given '3g' try for 2 months which I was told was 1000mb of free data. After that what is the best tariff to go for? Do they do a reasonably priced unlimited data tariff; I am on Racoon 30. Also how on Orange do I check my remaining txt messages, I have only worked out how to check minutes... Thanks for any help on my first post here. :D
Guest NikLP Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 Firstly, if possible, bin packet video, can't say I've ever used it (apart from when I got my e200). If you're on Orange, go to this page to check about decent data bundles. Be prepared for a long reading session. You can't check your remaining texts. You might be able to monitor your outgoing texts and 'reverse engineer' the info from that. Don't know if SPB GPRS monitor will check this for you? Hope this helps.
Guest Helix Posted September 2, 2006 Report Posted September 2, 2006 How would you go about uninstalling pvplayer? It's causing me loads of problems but because it's not listed on Add/Remove programs I cannot find a way. I've tried selecting the files individually through ActiveSync and it comes with that the file is protected or in use. (even when it isnt). Many thanks!
Guest NikLP Posted September 4, 2006 Report Posted September 4, 2006 Sorry, sack that, you can't uninstall it. Just don't use it. Go get TCPMP instead, plays most stuff. As for data, read the thread in Windows Mobile News called "Orange Unlimited Data?"
