Guest NikLP Posted August 30, 2006 Report Posted August 30, 2006 (edited) Hi, I've just taken delivery of a SanDisk 1GB MicroSD, for my Hermes device. I've just formatted it using the (generally well-received) HP Storage Format utility, under FAT32. It's the slowest thing I've ever seen. This is under windows. What's the crack? Should I reformat as FAT or something? Edit: In fact it's crashing Explorer repeatedly! TIA. Edited August 30, 2006 by NikLP
Guest NikLP Posted August 30, 2006 Report Posted August 30, 2006 On further inspection, this works fine with my other card reader. I can only conclude that the MicroSD card reader sent to me by MobyMemory.com is BOBBINS! <_<
Guest jimbouk Posted August 30, 2006 Report Posted August 30, 2006 I have the 1gb sandisk card and found it is a lot more reliable with FAT formatting, it died with fat32 formatting.
