Activ Sync 4.2 and Calender

I'm having a strange problem that I cannot see anywhere else on the forum.

When I sync my phone with my PC the contacts sync no problem but the calender does not. I have tried deleting the partnerships on both phone and PC but the problem is still there.

I'm using active sync 4.2, windows 2000, Outlook 2000 SP-3 and the phone is a v1240

Hope somebody can help as this is driving me up the wall.

Silly question time...have you selected Calendar in activesync options on the pc and set its options (ie sync all, sync last six months etc)?

Yes mate I have. I have also tried de slecting it then selecting it again and still no joy.

Just to add a few more detials.

I sync with 2 pc's. PC1 I sync my contacts and calender. PC2 I sync just my contacts. I also sync with an exchange server but only sync my emails.

And of course it is PC1 I am having problems with.

I had a similar problem some time ago when I got my second computer. Once I set up all the sync settings, the calendar wouldn't get synced from the PC I wanted it to. But when I connected my phone to that computer and created a new calendar entry on my that PC, things started working. Worth a try...

OK, things are starting to get stranger

I have PC1 & PC2 both syncing contacts and calender. So I set up an appointment on PC2 and it syncs with my phone sweet. I then sync with PC1 and indeed it buts that appointment in my calender on that PC. I then set up an appointment on PC1 and it dosn't sync with the phone.

Any ideas?

I am not sure exactly what you described, but I'd say check the conflict resolution settings for both PCs. I think the behavior you are seeing has something to do with whether you have "replace item on desktop" or "replace item on device" set.
