Guest NCC-1701 Posted August 30, 2006 Report Posted August 30, 2006 The title almost says it all. Does anyone know of a today plugin that shows the signal strength, possibly the carriers name & as a real bonus can report if connected to bluetooth and or Wifi? I have done the registry tweak that puts the carrier name & wifi / BT status on my today screen, but I would also like to have a signal meter in their too. I have tried DKtoday but it also includes info about missed calls & a call timer. All good stuff but I dont want all that info. Plus it wasn't working that well for me & the author appears to have abandoned the project. Anybody know of a compomise between the two????????
Guest jimbouk Posted August 30, 2006 Report Posted August 30, 2006 Havent you got signal strength in your topbar?
Guest NCC-1701 Posted August 31, 2006 Report Posted August 31, 2006 Havent you got signal strength in your topbar? Yes I have. That said I am using Wisbar & the meter that is used in the skin that I have is too small. Yep I know I could change the skin, but I really would prefer to have something bigger like the DKtoday meter. I live in an area where TMob coverage is, at best, sketchy. For example I have 1/2 signal in my front bedroom, none in my kitchen & full in the back garden. Great when mowing the lawns etc but not so good in the winter. :D
