What is the generic machine behind Cingular 2125 Smartphone

I have Audiovox SMT 5600 and it won't boot. What are my options? I unlocked it myself using tools available on the Internet and it used to work just fine with Tmobile USA SIM.

Secondly, I like Cingular's 2125 Smartphone but can I get it in its generic form. Who made it? Is it available unlocked without Cingular branding etc?

The 2125 is the HTC Faraday, the phone is made by HTC and branded to Cingular so it is technically in it's generic form. The only other device of this model is the Orange C600 without the antenna hump on the top.

HTC have only just started selling their own devices but the faraday is not in that range.
