Guest Johneboy Posted September 1, 2006 Report Posted September 1, 2006 Hi, I'm trying to play a movie file on my QTek 8500. It was created using Smartphone Media Studio v2.1. The file is in .3gp format and is stored on my memory card. When trying to play the movie in Betaplayer I get the following error message: "DirectDraw: Device error!" This appear a couple of time with only an 'Ok' option available to clear it. After that when I try to play the film again I just get the sound and no picture. I can use Mediaplayer to play the file just fine, but it is jerky and the sound skips. When using TCPMP I get the opposite - picture but no sound - this is due to the sound codec being removed from that version for some reason. Can anyone advise me on what's wrong? Is there another media player I can use? Cheers!
Guest martin Posted September 2, 2006 Report Posted September 2, 2006 Can you give more information about the movie file? In TCPMP, File-Media Info, what are the audio/video details of the 3GP file?
