Compressing video for my k-jam

I have an imate k-jam and a bunch of videos I would like to watch on its windows mobile media player. BUT, all my videos are in HUGE files. What other small files are supported by windows mobile media player? And, can someone recommend a good and EASY program to convert files with? Thanks

I've tried various formats and players, but the one I actually like best is the onboard wmp.

Use windows media encoder (from microsoft website), select a pocket PC profile, set the output resolution to 320x240, set the bitrate to about 300kb/s total, and you're good to go.
