Newbie to WM2k3

Device: Audiovox PPC-4100

Carrier: T-Mobile

Needs:

I want to use PDANET to share my GPRS connection with my PC...don't ask why. My problem is, when I cradle the phone, it switches to "The Internet ... PC Connection". Obviously this won't work as PDANET shares the phones WAN connection to the PC, this is a recursive link. How do I keep the phone from automatically switching to "PC Connection"?

Also, my Outlook is set to sync every 20 minutes. However, everytime I manually sync, it asks for the username and password. I retype the authentication and it logs in fine. Why do I have to keep doing this? Each time I set it to [] Save Password...No luck with that...

Other than these issues, the phone is stellar. Very good deal for only $128 unlocked...
