Selecting Wifi or 3G Connection

Probably a daft question which has been answred elsewhere (though I can't find it) but how do I get my Vario II to automatically select a Wifi connection when it's available and 3G when there's no Wifi?

As things are I have to change the Connections setting manually between "the internet" (via TMob 3G) and "Work" via Wifi) depending on what's available. There's no problem getting connected to various Wifi networks in my neighbourhood (i.e. getting a valid IP address and showing staus = Connected.)

It's highly likely I've screwed somthing while playing with various settings so any advice on how to put this right (preferably without a hard reset) would be most appreciated.

That thread covered exactly the problem I was having. The remedy was provided by rickwookie on page 3 of the thread.
