vCard via SMS on WM5 Smartphone

Hi all,

I miss an important feature on my Qtek 8310/WM5 Smartphone. I can't send vCard via SMS...

Is there any free tool that allows me to send/receive vCard via SMS. Not a separate app but one that integrates into Contact list. Is there any such app?

This is about the closest I could find. It gives you an extra option when you've brought someone up in the contacts menu (from the main list, not from their details) to "send via email/sms". It extracts required details and simply texts them to someone. It's not directly importable by that person but it's a part solution and if nothing else on a smatphone the number is clickable to call the person or add to address book.

Having said that it worked fine on my SPV C500 but I've just got an SP5m which I loaded this onto and now I come to try it, it doesn't populate the "items to send" menu correctly so you don't know what details it's to capture/send. Shame :D

Hi,

I have been searching the forums for an answer to my dilema, I have a HTCS310 running WM5, I need to send contacts by sms. The phone has the Vcard option but this uses MMS which is currently disabled on my Company Sim Card.

My previous phone (C500) had the RVJ Send Contact app which worked really well, but when installed on this phone comes up with an error.

Does anyone know of an app that I can download?

Many Thanks

Mark

vito copy and paste or orneto scissors

allow you to copy entries in your contacts and paste them in to an SMS it's a little long winded but its the best option I can think of at the moment, as i do not know of any applet that allows the context of the contacts to be transfered to text and inputted to an SMS in one easy movement

Thanks for the reply, I have done a search on both of these applications but can't seem to find them. Would you possibly have a link or point me in the right direction.

Many Thanks for the info

Mark
