scroll wheel annoyance

I've got a slight anoyance with the scroll wheel.

I have a lot of favourites in PIE, and some of these are gouped into folders.

When using the dpad to scroll favourites when you get to a folder it auto expands, which is annoying. but a simple left direction on the dpad contracts the folder.

Using the scroll wheel also auto expands the folder, but I can't find a way (apart from the dpad) to contract the folder again.

Anyone any idea if there is a reg hack or similar to change the default behaviour from auto expand?

If in landscape and thus using left thumb on wheel, does clicking the left cursor with your right thumb contract it?
