dopod 577w Pocket MSN w Wifi Problem

Hi all,

I just gotten my 577w.

Wifi was setup after some tedious configuration.

I can surf the web with IE on the phone but MSN Messenger is no go.

I keep getting the message "Temporary Conditions Currently Prevent Connecting To The Pocket MSN Service"

After configuring GPRS, now instead of the above error, MSN triggers GPRS and connects but not wi-fi.

Can anyone shed light on whether I've done something wrong?

My main purpose on getting this phone is so that I can use wifi & msn and this is driving me nuts.

I've tried searching around and not much has been discussed hence my post.

P.S. - Device is properly setup on wi-fi and wi-fi signal strength is good - I was also not connected to MSN on my desktop or any other computer at the time of attempt.
