Help in modifying a homescreen!

hey there, on my SPV E200, there's a homescreen named "windows default",

what i really like in this homescreen is that it shows on top,the applications recently ran on the phone,

but there is that "no upcoming appointments" in the middle of the screen that is annyoing me,...

i would like anyone plz to help me in clearing up some space on that homescreen so that it would only show the options i want:

_SMS

_time&date

_applications bar

can anyone help me plz,coz in this homescreen there;s alot of writing that the pic i've put as a background can not be clearly seen
