Missing Caller ID option on Vario2?

On my iMate SP5 I have an option to release my number to 'Only my contacts'. This is missing from the Vario 2 where caller ID is either 'on' or 'off' for all calls.

Is this a network specific quirk of TMobile or does it also occur on Orange/Voda versions of the Hermes?

I'm wondering if it might be possible to get this rather useful setting reinstated in a later Rom version and if so is it worth flagging to the network?
