Guest awarner (MVP) Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 By default, the phone's long style date format is: dddd MMMM dd, yyyy corresponding to Friday April 29, 2005. The problem when using the long style date format without the tweak is that long day and long month names can overlap with the time. Example is Wednesday September 30, 2006 will be too long for the screen to display. This tweak alters the format to shorten the day and month display to .ddd, MMM dd, yyyy translating to Thu, Mar 31, 2005. The long style date format registry value is located at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\nls\overrides\SLDte. Restart device for changes to take effect. If you wish to go back to the default format, just browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\nls\overrides\SLDte and change the Value data to dddd MMMM dd, yyyy Thanks for gpcarreon
