Forum aggregator

Hi

I just wondered if this already existed or maybe what I am doing is unique to me, and everyone else does it a different/better way.

As I get more gadgets and go on holiday to more places and meet more people, I am finding myself subscribing to more of these forum type websites. But I'm not interested in the whole forum, normally just a specific board on the forum, like here, for example, I am really only interested in the HTC Hermes specific board and the PPC software board. Likewise on other sites - Tivo, for example, I am only interested in the UK board.

So, is there a piece of software or a website that aggregates specific boards on different forums in to one big forum ... just for me. So in one place I can see all my forums/boards without having to log in and out of each one individually?

Come on ... surely this exists out there?

I would assume you could do this with an RSS reader and the RSS feeds from the forums... Have never tried, though.

Hi,

Thanks for the responses. But if I subscribe, for example, to the MoDaCo Posts or Topics RSS feeds then it feeds ALL posts/topics in all of the sub-forums, a lot of which I am not interested in. Or am I missing something?

Yus, that is correct.

I'll add feeds for particular forums, which in particular are you interested in btw?

So, for example, HTC Hermes and the Pocket PC software boards. Plus, what if there were individual boards on other forums, like fool.co.uk, maybe just the marks and spencer board. I guess that's what I meant by a forum board aggregator.

Thanks

themitch, Paul is willing to create separate feeds for you :D You would have to ask the same (if the other boards aren't already set up like that of course) of the other board administrators.
