Homescreen background image help! (Moto Q)

OK, here is what is happening...

My homescreen (my xml 'rizBG' with my custom made backround image and color scheme set to 'default') everything is pixel perfect to my liking :D :D

Here is the same background image when I select the actual image under the background option (rather than 'default' option) The image gets shifted 27 pixels (the light gray area where it says 'no appointments') :D :D

I cannot get rid of that 27 pixel shift! I have tried everything but whenever i choose a background image under 'background image' in settings, the image gets shifted! I have tried the valign="top" and "bottom" (and no valign) tagsand either the shift is at the top or bottom :D it simply won't format correctly

I need to be able to have different background images selectable from the background image option (replacing 'default')

Why? because I have found a homescreen randomizer that will totally work allowing me to create dozens of images (based on my image above) and then have the theme changer change the background image at 15 min intervals!
