Displaying Password

I've recently updgraded from am XDA IIi to an SPV3100 and it's doing a strange thing !

I have it set to lock after 5 mins with a 4 number password. When you type the password in it displays the last three characters and then you have to click ok to unlock it. I guess there is something wrong with it displaying the numbers but why do you have to click ok as well ?

Any one else experienced this ?

by any chance does your pin start with 112 or 999?

I had this, The last 3 digits of my 4 digit password was 999 so good guess.

It ended in 112, having chnaged it to something completely different it's fixed it.
