Guest nwillmott Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 Took possession of a v1605 (Vodafone's Hermes) the other day, and now my ported number has come across, I wanted to start watching the Mobile TV application. Seeing another post elsewhere, I knew there might be issues with accessing Vodafone Live! but I hoped I could still (somehow) get Mobile TV... BUT... No chance! Spoke to Vodafone Cust Svces and they say that it's not a "Live handset" and therefore I can't get TV. Anyone else as disappointed by this as me? Does anyone have any news from Vodafone as to whether Live and TV will be available soon? Cheers

Cheers as far as I know the only htc device to support tv is the vodaphone lobster. sorry but this device just isn't compatible. you might be able to stream some tv thought.
Guest nwillmott Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 Has anyone out there managed to get Vodafone Live and mobile TV working on their v1605? I've recently heard it's possible but can find no details of how to set it up...
Guest Fred01 Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 (edited) When I upgraded to a Palm Treo 750 I was given a month's free trial subscription to Sky Mobile TV. I didn't know how to access it and neither did Vodafone, until - after many calls - someone advised me that my handset wasn't Vodafone Live capable. According to this customer service rep, this affects all Windows Mobile devices. (The quick test would be, I guess, whether you can access live.vodafone.com) Edited November 2, 2006 by Fred01
