Guest gurujockstrap Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 Dumb question coming up but how do you do this with the Vario II? Had an MP3 file that I wanted to transfer to my girlfriends Nokia 6233. Enabled Bluetooth on her phone and on my Vario II. Got them paired up fine. Went into File Explorer, selected the file and then the send option. Every other option was there apart from Bluetooth. What am I doing wrong? First PPC device for me so I've probably missed something. Thanks in advance.:D
Guest Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 Choose "beam file" and then wait for it to discover the target device. Make sure your bluetooth is on and hers is discoverable. Pairing is not necessary, if the target phone want's to pair then let it, but it's not necessary to do that to begin with.
Guest Pondrew Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 Jon Parker is absolutely right. As this will be helpful to any Pocket PC Phone user (all HTC Pockets PC Phones past and present are the same) I'll move this to the Pocket PC Help & Advice section...

Done that but never waited to let it discover a Bluetooth device! Saw the IR Message and thought this wasn't the right selection so I immediately quit. Thanks for your help! :D
