Guest Laser_iCE Posted September 9, 2006 Report Posted September 9, 2006 (edited) Okay, so I've ALWAYS had this thought right, that people who are born in September (such as myself, on the 20th, so get ready to send me your gifts.) are all accidents... And there is a lot of us. Let me explain; September = 9th month of the year So, we go back 9 months and we end up in December/January... What is between the two months? NEW YEARS EVE. Perhaps our parents were getting freaky on New Years Eve, all drunk and messed up, and we are the end result? :D EDIT: Luckily not many of you saw the typo in the title :D Edited September 10, 2006 by Laser_iCE
Guest mcwarre Posted September 9, 2006 Report Posted September 9, 2006 Perhaps our parents were getting freaky on New Years Eve Hopefully with each other :D :D :D
Guest Pondrew Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 hehe. Sounds plausible enough. Pondrew (who just had to remove a non family friendly word from Laser_iCE's original post :D )
Guest Laser_iCE Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 (edited) lol my bad ;x It's the Australian way, y'know? :D But yeah, back on topic, I know a LOT of people whose birthdays are in September, which is really sad :D And disturbing :D lol Edited September 10, 2006 by Laser_iCE
Guest Pondrew Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 hehe. Yeah, I know the Aussie way. Had an Australian housemate when I lived in Toronto, Canada back in 2002 (seems u Aussies get around almost as much as us Brits!). Funnily enough I was just trying to work out why you were referring to those born in September as Spring chickens given it's the end of Summer and towards the beginning of Winter! But of course it's not so in Australia!
Guest dodding nonkey Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 And heres me thought that it was clever mummies & daddies making sure that their little child was one of the oldest in the class*, but no, it turns out that they was just toooo wasted to be able to behave like grown ups and wait until, say, the 19 Feb. Oh my God..... Thats my mum's birthday.... I'm the result of a birthday bonk! 'Happy birthday to you' will never sound the same to me again. That is just so, so , so AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH !!!! * Appologies to those in countries where the school year does not start on 1 Sep like it does in the UK.
Guest Laser_iCE Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 ROFL :D Unfortunately, Iwas one of the younger kids in the class ... :D Friggin sucks. Oh well, I was also the biggest :D
