Best ROM

What's the absolute best ROM for the Tornado/Faraday, ignoring all the branding each operator does?

I have an Orange C600 and was thinking of flashing it with an Imate SP5 ROM. Is there a better option? And is there a particular version of the SP5 ROM that's better than the others, or is it that newer ROMs are always better?

Also, can anyone please point me to topics related to backing up my current ROM and flashing a new one. I don't wanna screw up on my 1st attempt.

Hi.

Nobody will tell you which is the best.

From my experience I can tell you that for me the best one is the newest orange branded 2.0.14.0. The most stable and have even small vibration when starting and going down.

But... there is allways but. This new orange rom does not came with my native polish language, so I`m back to my favorite I-mate SP5 RUS 2.0.8.0.

And for now on this one is the best for me.

I only care for English, I don't need any other languages (even though I'm from Romania :D ).

From what I've read, Orange have removed various programs from the original ROM, and have replaced the default icons with their own. This means branding the ROM, and I don't really enjoy having that. What I'm really interested in is what differences are between the latest Imate/Qtek/Orange ROMs (programs, features, stability etc).
