Guest bkraptor Posted September 9, 2006 Report Posted September 9, 2006 HKLM\SOFTWARE\HTC\SWHighPass Value name: CutoffFrequency Default: 700 All frequencies below that value are not used for playback, so all your .mp3's sound weird when played on the speaker. To fix this, lower the value to something like 350-400 [Hz] (I personally like 400). Don't overdo this by going too low, as the speaker has a physical limitation. After this tweak, my .mp3's sound noticeably better. Tell me if you also hear the difference.
