Guest Shane Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 I have an SPV M3100 from Orange, two questions. When it is connected to my home wireless network and I go to the mobile internet explorer is still connects using GPRS/3G, how can I get it to use the wireless when I am at home. Also the maunal states that Pocek MSN is on it, its not - Can I download a version of MSN Messenger for mobile 5 and install it myself, if so where from? Thanks
Guest peekie Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 There will be shortly a replacement to pocket msn called windows live mobile , had the same problem with the gprs , the way i sorted it out was to put the phone in flight mode and then internet works with your wifi , you only have to do this one time and the phone remembers the wifi connection if its switched on and your phone can be in normal mode , if that fails to work delete your current wifi connection and do it again :D
Guest Shane Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 Thank you very muck I will look out for MSN live on the mobile. Sorry to be thick, but I thought I had tried the Flight mode trick and it turned the Wi-fi off as well. So just to confirm the order: Connect to Wi-fi, put phone into filght mode, connect to internet? Thanks Shane
