Syncing with email?

I've got an imates sp3i, and whenver I hook it up to my computer it syncs prettymuch everything. Every now and then Active Sync says something like syncing "818 email messages" even though I don't have the phone set up to synce that many emails. It is only supposed to sync the last two to three days email, and I know I don't have anywhere near that number of new emails.

Then when I go to browse my messages, there are no where near 800 emails on my phone.

Any ideas as to why this is happening?

i would firstly suggest removing your relationships and recreating it and see what happens. Also make sure your using the latest version of ActiveSync (4.2)

thanks for the active sync tip, i am using 4.1, Ithought it was the latest. I'm upgrading right now.
