Guest Happy Dave Posted September 11, 2006 Report Posted September 11, 2006 Hi just got a new bluetooth headset and went for the JX10, now wishing perhaps I hadn't with my previous Jabras you could start Voice Command with a push of the headset button (using the reg hack) and it all worked fine, as was the case with all the other headsets I'd used. The JX10 seems not to want to do that at all, as soon as it connects to the phone pushing any button redails the last number, there doesn't seem to be a way of getting voice command through it at all (using microsoft voice command or the pre installed one). It also doesnt seem to like reconnections when it has gone out of range, have to turn it off and on again to get it to reconnect. Anyone had a different experience? thanks dave

Anyone had a different experience? thanks dave I have one and I love it. If anything I think the voice dial is a pain (I don't use it). I dumped the clip that fits over the ear and use a Jabra ear gel . This stays in my ear and is much more comfortable than the original setup. The only problem I have is that people say they can hear a screech when I answer. I never hear it so I have never worried about it. I also use this with a Razer and an MPX220 and it works great with all of them. Randy
Guest smeg36 Posted September 15, 2006 Report Posted September 15, 2006 I also love my JX10. It sounds like you are pressing and holding the multifunction button though. It will redial if you hold it down until it beeps a second time. For voice dialing you need to press the button once quickly and it should work fine.

It works great for calls but won't do most of the other stuff its meant to. Also (set up to wear on the right ear) the buttons appear to be in the wrong place, the + volume button is at the bottom, and the multi function button is at the bottom of the unit. All of the other pictures I've seen the + should be at the top, as should the multi function.
