Guest musicskate0 Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 I have been trying everything. A couple nes emulators (pocketnester, smartnes) which only give partial functionality with no save games. some dont even install or work at all(pocketnes, picodrive, pocketsnes) some doom games give partial functionality too....nothing seems to work fully, am I just an idiot(most likely, lol :D ) or is there something wierd with the 2125. can other 2125 users recomend some good freeware entertaining games or emulators(that can actually save games!!!) thanks!!!

It's a nice tool to get rid of every boring minute where nothing else left to do... :D And it is still possible to save the current score of every game/ROM: Just pause the game with the key you have defined for pausing a game, then use left menu to save its score! :D Maybe you're not using the latest version...? :D Edited September 13, 2006 by Twilight.Cruiser
Guest musicskate0 Posted September 13, 2006 Report Posted September 13, 2006 Thanks for the reply, but none of my saving worked. It just stared blankly at me as if i didn't click it at all. I'm gunna search for a newer version though.
Guest Twilight.Cruiser Posted September 14, 2006 Report Posted September 14, 2006 (edited) Thanks for the reply,Not fot that... - don't mention it! :D but none of my saving worked. It just stared blankly at me as if i didn't click it at all.I've just tried out with SuperMarioBrothers2 and it worked like a charm! I was able to pause the game and save its score, and could restore it as often as I want to with... - restore! :D The only thing to do is to pause the current ROM game once more and to use the left menue... - this even still works when quitting PocketNester and restart it, then reload the ROM file, pause it again and restore the saved score! Which WindowsMobile Version (WM3SE 4 SP, WM5 4 SP...) and screen resolution do you have on your SP?I'm gunna search for a newer version though.I guess I'm using the version that could be found here at MoDaCo on parallax' forum/download sites, but just send me your email address to my "private" MoDaCo mail account and I'll send you the version that I'm using as an attachment, if you want to. I'm using WM5 4 SP, but i tried the save thing and it didn't work, crazy. It still just acts like i didnt choose save or load or anything. Does it create a save file in the folder or any other cue i could use to tell if it's working?

Will be overwritten every time you save a new score for that game / ROM file.
