Guest flywest Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 This is a small challenge and I definitely think there is a registry edit to fix them but I searched to with no luck. 1. The calendar on my home page only shows one appointment. It will show an ALL-DAY appointment and a time appointment togethor but it won't show 2 time appointments. I know FACADE will fix this but I don't like the FONT on Facade and all the other stuff. I just want my Default Smartphone home page showing two time appointments. EX. 12:00 Lunch 1:00 Appointment 2. Anyone know the registry edit to change how long you have to press a number key before it activates the speed dial to that application? I mean it is a small annoyance and I only want to change it less than half a second but it is half a second to long. I am being VERY picky here but it seems like it could be tweaked from the time you press and hold a number key to the time it opens that speed dial application. Thanks!
Guest The Doctor Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 the timing for the speed dial is built into the cdial app so its probably not tweakable. not so sure bout the appointment 1. try w4lly on that. phil
Guest skippythenurse Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 I think facade will be the only answer. Since you are in the tweaking mode, you can edit the XML of the facade homescreen to where you can change the font.

Facade seems to be my best answer. Sure would be nice to tweak the speed dial just a little bit.
Guest notaliberal Posted September 13, 2006 Report Posted September 13, 2006 You might try reg editing this value: HKCU\Control Panel\Accessibility\ Then hit Values button and change HoldTimeout to something smaller, such as 250. I imagine it's in milliseconds. Good luck, let us know if it works. Seems to have worked on mine, it's somewhat quicker now... Jeff

I tried 10 and tried as much as 3000 and saw no change. Thanks for trying.
