Upgrade from SPV M500 to M3100

Morning all.

Am about to upgrade my SPV M500 to the M3100 - when Orange get them back in stock.

A pretty comfortable with getting most stuff (Contacts, Appts, etc...) across to new phone with ActiveSync and installing software but was wondering if it is possible to copy text messages from my old phone to my new phone???

Have had a Google around but couldn't find anything that gives a clear answer.

I have exactly the same question regarding getting SMS info from MDA Compact to MDA VArio II! I hope someone out there knows the answer...
