i need some help!

i have a motorola mpx 220 and i have a problem with the sound. When i use media player to play an mp3 song the sound is ok but when i use an mp3 as a ringtone the sound is very low, i can barely hear it eventhough media player's volume is on max. What can i do?

Check that the Ring volume is set to Loud in Settings-Profiles, Menu-Edit.

Does the ring volume sound low using other ringtone formats ?

You could possibly try encoding the MP3s with a higher amplitude settings.

martin thank you for the advice. When i use an other ringtone format it sounds just fine and coyld you tell me how to change the encoding of the mp3's?

You can use a program like Audacity to increast the volume (notthe technical name) of your mp3
