Guest st.tom Posted September 13, 2006 Report Posted September 13, 2006 Hello tehre, is there any way how download in pocket explorer files like zip, rar, jpg, pdf....? thank you for your help!
Guest DSF Posted October 7, 2006 Report Posted October 7, 2006 hello the answer is yes. it can be done via registry or via smartexplorer. i will show you the easier way. - download and install smartexplorer (binarys.com) - open smartexplorer - file > open > manage file types.. - go to .zip - menu > edit file type.. - check 'accept download in ie' - press done - do the same with the rest. you can add new extensions (menu > add file type..) If you want to download files from modaco, add a new file type with the following properties: - extension: php - command to execute: . - chose any icon - check 'accept download in ie' - press done now you will be able to download files from modaco with IE. it will give an error when download will finish, just ignore it ;-)
Guest th1rt3en Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 i did this... and whenever i try to download big files now(ie: mp3), it says the size is too big... any fix?
Guest DSF Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 @chocula81 no problem ;-) @joe maybe that's because your operator has put a download limit on the apn that you use. for example, i cannot download files bigger than 3mb with orange wap (apn=wap). try something smaller, about 200kb
Guest th1rt3en Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 damn.. thanks for the post.. i wish there was a workaround.
