Guest Albie Posted September 14, 2006 Report Posted September 14, 2006 (edited) When I rang Orange, to get a replacement phone ... I was on hold the first time for 80 mins before I hung up ... then called back the following day, and hung up after 45 mins, and finally got through to them the same night after being on hold for 25 mins .... the CS is awful ..... never used to be, but it is now. I would love to switch to T-Mobile, but contract not up till December, and also T-Mobile dont have a smartphone that I want at the moment ... I looked at the Vario II, but it is just too big for what I need. Have currently got the C600, so want something similar, but also a little better if possible Edited September 14, 2006 by Albie

I will be.........

I will be......... guys.. just ring 343 and ask for the department you want. I've only been on hold up to a maximum of 20 mins on this number. You can also try 156 (data) or 980 (registrations), and ask for the right dept.
Guest M@rkC Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 guys.. just ring 343 and ask for the department you want. I've only been on hold up to a maximum of 20 mins on this number. You can also try 156 (data) or 980 (registrations), and ask for the right dept. Those numbers are great if you can use your mobile....... When my M5000 was dying, it kept turning itself off at random points and so it was useless for making phone calls as you never knew when you'd get cut off :D I ended up phoning the "landline equivalent" of 150 to report the problem and was on the phone - both waiting and talking to a CS rep - for about 100 mins :D ....imagine my surprise last week when my landline phone bill arrived and I got charged a frickin' tenner for the privilege of listening to Jack Johnson for an hour :D If I thought I stood any chance of getting anywhere with it, I'd send Orange my landline bill and ask them to refund the calls to CS that I got charged for........./me is not a happy bunny.... Mark.
Guest stevekdavis Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 I beat all of those times. Currently have a handset (M3100) that won't connect to Orange network at all. 2hrs on Friday eve, still not fixed and so far today, 2hrs 57 minutes and still holding!!! It's a disgrace.

My turn to hold the record for a while... wait for it.... 4 hours 22min 08 secs! I should hold that record for at least a couple days. I was going for 5 hours but accidentally touched the screen and hung up the call.
