Hey guys,

Im kinda new to the smartphones and im having a little trouble with activesync. I've installed it on my computer and connected the USB cable. Activesync tells me its "Connecting" and the symbol begins spinning but it never goes any further.

Is it waiting for a response from me? Do I have to set up anything on the phone?

Any help is greatly appretiated!

Also, does anyone know of a technical phone number I can call to find answers to all these little questions?

Try going into comm manager and making sure activesych is enabled.

I find the activesync very hit and miss. Also try turning phone off then on again. That seems to works for me.

Could be the firewall. I had to manually add one of the .exe files from the program files/microsoft activesync directory on one of my laptops to get it to work. There would seem to be four componenets to activesync that all need to be listed as allowed in the applications list of the firewall.

I tried to go into comms manager to turn on active sync but it just advises me to install activesync on my computer and connect my device!
